ABOUT
The Association of African Students, University of Tsukuba (AASUT) is hosting the University’s first ever African Week. The event aims to present the African continent from the point of view of Africans, highlighting its successes and demonstrating the diversity of its countries, cultures and peoples. AASUT hopes that this will help to further bridge the gap of understanding between Africa and Asia.
African Week will be a week-long event that is scheduled to take place from December 12th to December 18th 2016 at the University of Tsukuba’s Global Commons (Dec 12th- Dec 16th) and at the University of Tsukuba’s Satellite office on the second floor of BIVI Tsukuba (Dec 17th-Dec 18th).
We will have two events running simultaneously during African Week 2016; an Africa Cultural Expo and an Internal Forum .
